I lead the MAC-X lab at Imperial College London

My research group focuses on Modelling, Analysis and Control of compleX systems (MAC-X). With a distinctive theoretical and methodological flavour, we span topics that go from model order reduction to optimal control of wave energy converters

I am the Director of the MSc in Control and Optimisation, and module leader of Control Engineering and Applied Advanced Optimisation.

To potential PhD students

I am always looking for new PhD candidates. Prospective students are welcome to contact me by email. However, note that given the large amount of speculative emails I receive, I may not reply to your email unless this contains:
(1) Evidence of a strong background in Systems and Control.
(2) Evidence of being the top student in your MSc/MEng degree.
